Lisa Alex Gray grew up in Wisconsin, where she loved swimming in Lake Michigan, exploring the woods, and riding (and occasionally being thrown from) horses on her cousin's farm. Her earliest memories are of filling spiral notebooks with fictional stories instead of schoolwork and creating imaginary worlds from cardboard boxes.
Today, Lisa continues to explore these imaginary worlds through her writing, crafting stories about awkward, misfit girls trying to find themselves—much like her own journey.
